Kidnap Kid (UK Producer Matt Relton)

Kidnap Kid closed last year with the accolade iTunes US ‘Best Electronic Song of 2012‘ for his debut release ‘Vehl‘ on cutting-edge indie, Black Butter Records. Followed by ‘So Close’ which racked over 100k plays on Soundcloud in just one week, Kidnap Kid provided a perfect soundtrack to the summer with his third release ‘Thin Lines‘ ft. Lotti.

Whilst creating his own award winning releases, Kidnap Kid aka Matt Relton extends his talents to remix and production duties, smashing official remixes for Emeli Sande and Disclosure, and recently co-producing tracks for Lulu James. Out of the studio, Kidnap Kid kicked off the year with a 16 date US Tour, supporting Rudimental, TEED, & Disclosure. This summer, he’s adding many a notch to his proverbial festival bedpost, gracing the likes of Glastonbury, Hideout, Creamfields, Osheaga (USA), Wakarusa (USA) including dates at Space, Ibiza for the Black Butter residency.

With support also coming from both radio and club tastemakers plus a loyal and supportive fan base, who’s interaction with his SoundCloud can testify, 2013 is on it’s way to be a big year for Kidnap Kid.
