Short biography
Carlos Anderson is a Mexican musician, singer-songwriter, arranger and music producer who lives in Mazatlan, Sinaloa state, Mexico.
He was born in San Francisco from a father that has Mexican origins in Oaxaca and a mother that has Cuban origins, He was raised in Zimatlán de Alvarez, Oaxaca state, Mexico, and lives in Sinaloa.
He was first best known for his work as a composer for Edwin Luna y La Trakalosa de Monterrey and successful songwriters like Horacio Palencia.
He wrote songs for Grupo Firme, La Adictiva, La Trakalosa, Luis Angel "El Flaco" and Luis Alfonso Partida "El Yaki". His musical carrier started in 2016 when he was hired as trombonist by Banda Rancho Viejo. From 2020 to 2022, he played music with Banda Carnaval and launched a career as a solist in 2023.
He announced in February 2024 that he was posing his solo career to join Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizárraga, and start touring with orchestra while not being allowed to play on scene with it because he was still under contract with a music label, and renounced to the position at the end of May 2024, because the indemnification for the breach of his contract with the company, was too expensive.
