GleAM Records is an independent record label based in Maglie (Lecce, Italy), specialized in jazz recordings. The label was founded in 2017 by producer and jazz pianist Angelo Mastronardi, with the aim of giving voice to new trends in both the Italian and international jazz scenes.
The label’s catalog includes 44 releases, reviewed by the most important international jazz magazines and newspapers, including Jazz Journal UK, JazzLife Magazine Japan, Musica Jazz Magazine, All About Jazz USA, Corriere della Sera, Il Manifesto, Citizen Jazz, Jazz’n’More and Jazz-Fun.de. , DownBeat, All About Jazz, JazzLife Magazine (Japan), Jazz-Fun.de, JazzWise.
In 2023, the label curated the audio restoration and remastering of Modern Art Trio (1971) by Franco D’Andrea, ranking among the Top 3 international reissues of Top Jazz 2023 by Musica Jazz.
In January 2025, I’ve Been Waiting for You by bassist Giuseppe Venezia ranked in the Top 5 of Best Albums (4th place), Musician of the Year (6th place) and Best New Talent (2nd place) in the Top Jazz 2024 poll by Musica Jazz.
In 2025, Angelo Mastronardi became the first Italian producer to release an unreleased tape by legendary tenor saxophonist Dexter Gordon, officially recognized by The Dexter Gordon Society, Inc. and the Estate of Dexter Gordon®, directed by Maxine Gordon and Woody Louis Armstrong Shaw III. The Dexter Gordon album won Top Jazz – Best Historical Album 2025 on Musica Jazz, and received the same award from Paris Move and Buscadero.
